Christ Seminary, Polokwane, is a ministry of Christ Baptist Church, Polokwane and has been faithfully training pastors from Africa since its inception in 1997. The seminary trains men from various recognized Christian denominations.

Our Mission

Vision

Christ seminary exists to strengthen churches and transform communities by training pastors and faithful believers in Africa. (Ezra 7:10; 2 Tim 2:2; 3:15; 4:2).

An African continent filled with faithful and equipped pastors, accurately interpreting, living, and preaching the Word of Truth.

The 3 years that I’ve spent at Christ Seminary have been challenging and yet rewarding at the same time. I thought I had a high view of Scripture, but when I got to Christ Seminary I realized that my view of Scripture was never high enough. I have now come to appreciate the inerrancy, authority, sufficiency and inspiration of Scripture. My theology and worldview before coming to Christ Seminary was seriously challenged as each of the lecturers kept pointing me back to the Scriptures. They have stirred up in me a deeper love and appreciation for God’s word as the only source of all truth.
